vinyl - One Song Bugged From A Common Heartbeat
Music from Histoire du Théâtre IV 'One Song'
In autumn 2022, Belgian visual artist and theatre maker Miet Warlop, together with her performers and musicians, spent a week immersed in the Gam Studios in the Belgian Ardennes. The result is One Song From A Bugged Heartbeat: a record featuring two songs from the performance of the same name.
One Song was always meant to be shared – on stage and now also on vinyl. We want to imprint this song in your head by repeating it, repeating it and repeating it, because one day – maybe sooner than later – you’ll not want to feel alone. You’ll not want to feel the sorrow, pain and regret we all feel.
Day after day after day we sing this song and learn how to embody these feelings without losing the steamy, whirling and throbbing lust for life that makes it all worthwhile.
